For over 50 years, Hacienda Pool is where neighborhood children have learned to swim. Our instructors, many who learned to swim at our pool, know how to effectively teach children of all ages and skill levels.
We're pleased to offer four, two-week sessions of group, semi-private, and private lessons in the summer of 2023. Click on the "Sign up" links below to register. The registration deadline is 7 days prior to the start of the session.

Session 1: June 5 - June 16
Session 2: June 19 - June 30
Session 3: July 10 - July 21
Session 4: July 24 - August 4

Levels 5 & 6 & Lap from 9:30 - 10:10 am
Levels 3 & 4 from 10:25 - 11:05 am
Levels 1 & 2 from 11:20 - 11:50 am
Tuesday and Thursday: 8:30 to 9:15
Lessons are open to both Club members and non-members.
Two week sessions are held Mondays through Fridays.
Level 3 through Level 6 are 40 minutes in length.
Level 1 and Level 2 are 30 minutes in length (lower student teacher/ratio).
The pool is heated at 78 degrees.
Late enrollment is based on availability.
No refunds available once enrolled and paid.
Class times and dates are subject to change based on class size.
All students are evaluated on the first day of class to determine the level in which they should be placed.
Group Lesson Fees
Leased & Non-Members:
Semi-private lessons are ideal for siblings, couples or anybody who would like a smaller learning environment than our group lessons. These lessons are arranged similar to private lessons and follow the same schedule.
Semi-private Swim Lesson Fees
Lease & Non-Members: $60/swimmer
One-on-one lessons are excellent for:
Swimmers who need extra attention
Swimmers who would like to improve their stroke technique
Swimmers who are unable to attend the weekday lessons
Private lessons will be scheduled with the Head Swim Instructor. They may be scheduled during:
Tuesday from 8:00 - 9:30
Thursdays from 8:00 - 9:30

Swim Level Descriptions
Level 1 - Introduction to Water Skills
Requirements: Age 3+ and Toilet Trained
Helps students feel comfortable in the water and to enjoy the water safely. This course does not teach children to be accomplished swimmers or to survive in the water.
Level 2 - Fundamental Aquatic Skills
Gives students success with fundamental skills.
Level 3 - Stroke Development
Builds on the skills in Level 2 by providing additional guided practice.
Level 4 - Stroke Improvement
Develops confidence in the strokes learned and to improve other aquatic skills.
Level 5 - Stroke Refinement
Provides further coordination and refinement of strokes.
Level 6 - Swimming & Skill Proficiency
Refines the strokes so students swim with ease, efficiency, power and smoothness over greater distances. Designed with options with each option focusing on preparing students to participate in more advanced courses, such as Water Safety Instructor and Lifeguard Training.

Fundamentals of Diving
Fitness Swimming - includes all strokes, as well as flip-turn
Level 7 - Adult Level Beginner
For adults that do not have any swimming experience, it will focus on teaching basic swimming and survival skills. The main focus will be to develop fundamental aquatic skills.
Level 8 - Adult Level Intermediate
Builds on basic swimming skills, providing stroke refinement and improvement of other aquatic skills. Builds on skill learned in Adult Level Beginner.
