How to Join

Looking to join? There are three ways to join Hacienda Gardens Swim Club: purchase a membership directly from the club, purchase a membership from a current member, or sublease from a current member.

Purchase Directly from the Club

New memberships can be purchased directly from the club and cost $2,000.00 (this includes the first year of dues). After the first year, annual dues are $700.00 per year.

Purchase From An Existing Member

For Buyers

Contact the Pool Secretary (haciendapool.secretary@gmail.com) for a list of members looking to sell or sublease. This protects both parties from any misunderstandings concerning ownership and current dues.

For Members Who Are Selling

The value of the membership is based on market conditions and can be negotiated between you and the potential new member. There is a $50 transfer fee.

If you have found a buyer, send the Hacienda Pool Secretary the completed Transfer Form. This form notifies the Board of the change in membership.

All sales must be processed by the Hacienda Pool Secretary. Email the Pool Secretary or call (510) 358-8001 and leave a message.

Sublease a Membership

A third option to joining the pool is to sublease a membership from an existing member. Those considering this option should contact the Pool Secretary to find out if there are any available member leases or to confirm if the membership is in good standing. This protects both parties from any misunderstandings concerning ownership and current dues.

It is the current member's responsibility to pay the annual dues and the lease fee. Also, please note that leased Memberships are not eligible for swim lesson discounts.
